Each parish and school will have a "point person", that is, the parish or school liaison with the Office of Child and Youth Protection. They will be responsible for knowing what is expected of their organization, where all audit materials are stored, schedules for training, etc.
The Diocese will now begin a 3 year audit cycle, with 2009 being the audit year for the Diocese of San Bernardino. Note that parish audits will also begin, with auditors traveling to the parishes to view how the programs have been implemented.
